Winners Announced for the 2025 PEP Pickleball Challenge

Frisco, TX — PEP Pickleball is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025 PEP Pickleball Challenge! Throughout January, players from across the country participated by committing to play pickleball at least once during the month. Participants could also earn bonus entries for prizes by sharing photos of their pickleball games on PEP Pickleball’s social media channels.

We are proud to congratulate Linda Reyna, who was named the Grand Prize Winner and took home a brand-new PEP Pickleball Paddle!

Exclusive Q&A with Grand Prize Winner Linda Reyna

Q: What inspired you to start playing pickleball?
A: I first picked up a paddle in 2017, back when pickleball had a reputation as the “Old folks’ sport”—lol! It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the game. These days, you’ll find me on the YMCA indoor courts every weekday morning, soaking up the camaraderie and competition.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about pickleball?
A: Honestly, it’s the fellowship. I love playing with people of all skill levels—everyone brings their own energy to the court. My regular crew always has music playing in the background, which keeps us motivated and makes every game feel like a mini party!

Q: Any words of encouragement for new players?
A: Absolutely! Relax, keep your eye on the ball, and just have fun. Pickleball is all about enjoying yourself and connecting with others. Watching someone hit their first serve or make a great shot is such a joy—it’s a reminder of how much fun this sport can be.
